Need Your Help...

We are so excited to be getting so close to sending our dossier to China!  As soon as our immigration approval comes in, (hopefully just a couple more weeks) we will be ready to send it!  Once it is received and logged in to their system, typically we will be about 6 +/- months from being able to travel to get Fisher!  With all of that being said, we just wanted to take a moment to ask for your help.

Please pray for us in these areas:

1. Please pray that during our wait time we will pray and seek the Lord's direction and seek to glorify Him in this journey.

2. Pray that we will treasure this time with Sterling, Cutter and Trinity, as our little family of 5.

3. Pray that the Lord will prepare Fisher's heart to receive us as his forever family, and that he will accept our love willingly and without fear.

4. Pray that our hearts will be filled with patience and compassion for what Fisher has been through, so that we can love him and raise him in the unique and special way that he needs.

5. Pray for Fisher's foster home, New Day South, and for his foster parents and his nannies.  I am sure letting go of him will not be easy for them.  They have invested a lot of love and time into him this past year.

6. Pray that the Lord will provide the remaining funds we need to send our dossier to China. ($4176.25) 

7. Pray that we will be approved for a grant, that we just applied for.  It would help us with a portion of our travel expenses. (Travel costs for all of us will be around $17,000) 
  

Please also consider participating in our fundraisers:

1. Buy a cookbook.  We are putting together a cookbook that will be filled with some fantastic recipes.  The book will have around 150-200 recipes and will cost around $12 plus shipping.

2. Donate to our silent auction.  We will be having a spaghetti dinner fundraiser in November.  (Details to come later.)  We need donations for the silent auction that will be held there.  We would appreciate anything you can donate toward that.

3. Make a tax-deductible donation.  We have been approved by Adopttogether.org for a profile on their website.  They are a 501c3 organization that will accept donations on our behalf and will turn around and give us a grant for that amount once we raise a certain amount of money.   Go to www.adopttogether.org/00543 to make a donation or go to their website and search for our last name "Wanninger."
