Progress!!!!

FINALLY!  Our Dossier has been sent to China and logged in to their system.  We are on the home stretch now.  The longest part of our process is over and we are waiting to receive our LOA which is the letter of acceptance.  It can take from 2-3 months.  Once we receive that, we would travel in about 6-8 weeks.  So after almost 11 months of paperwork and processing, we are only 4-5 months away from getting Fisher!

So far we have paid over $12000 in adoption costs.  We are now starting to raise funds for our travel expenses to China for our 2 week trip to bring Fisher home!  Lord willing, it will be about 4 months from now (more or less depending on govt approvals etc) and will cost around $17,000.  We need all the help we can get.

Here are some ways you can help us:

1.   PRAY!  This is THE thing we need the most.  We have seen prayer work so many times first hand in our lives.  God is merciful to answer the prayers of His faithful!  Pray that He will give us wisdom and discernment.  Pray that He will comfort Fisher while he waits.  Pray that we will be able to raise enough money.  Pray that Fisher will bond with us and feel comfortable with us.  Pray that Fisher's grieving process will be quick and painless.  Pray that Fisher's health will remain good.  Pray for The Lord to prepare our biological children for their new brother.  Pray for us to survive the jet-lag!
